November 8th, 2017, Metra and the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA) unveiled a significant upgrade to the Metra station at McCormick Place, including a vibrant series of six mural paintings. Created by Yuvia Aguirre, Lydia Aigbokhai, Andrea Araujo, Cindy Chen, Joyce Lam Tayvia Ridgeway, India Stallworth, Issac Torres, and myself. Curated by instructors Kristina Smith, Richardo Gonzalez, and China Harris all part of the After School Matters program.

The design that I created was in dedication to my home, Bronzeville.
